Office Phone: 952-988-3706

Natalie Owens-Pike, Executive Director: Natalie Owens-Pike became our executive director in 2014, though she began her career at LearningWorks as an aspiring teacher while still a student at Macalester College. LearningWorks led her to become a Teach For America corps member in the Mississippi Delta, where she taught Spanish in a rural public high school. She returned to LW staff as director of alumni and community outreach and a social studies instructional coach. In 2017, she was elected to serve the national Breakthrough Collaborative Board of Trustees by her fellow affiliate executive directors. She is the chair of the board's Affiliate Committee. Natalie is also an active community board member in the Twin Cities, serving on the YMCA Camp Menogyn board, where she is co-chair of the diversity and inclusion committee. She is also a founding board member of the BOLD/GOLD program of the YMCA, which expands access for students of color to wilderness camps. Passionate about equitable leadership and representation, she works with her team to build programming where students and teachers are their own best advocates.
