This edition of our popular Breakfast at Blake speaker series featured Brian Flores Pʼ31 ʼ32 ʼ35, Minnesota Vikings coach. Q&A followed the presentation.

Flores is the defensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings under head coach Kevin O'Connell. He is known for his successful tenure as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins (2019-21). He brings extensive experience from his 15 seasons with the New England Patriots under Bill Belichick, during which the team won four Super Bowls. Flores began his NFL career as a scouting assistant with the Patriots, working his way up through various roles on offense, defense and special teams before becoming defensive play-caller in New England and then a head coach.

Flores was born and raised in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York to Honduran parents. After attending Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn, he played football at Boston College as a defensive back from 1999 through 2003. An injury prevented Flores from playing in the NFL. He grew up a fan of the New York Giants and New York Mets.

Brian and his wife, Jenny, live in Eden Prairie with their three children.
