OUR MISSION: END HUNGER HERE
The Greater Boston Food Bank works passionately to end hunger across Eastern Massachusetts by providing our neighbors in need the healthy food and resources they need to thrive.
Volunteer tasks will focus on high need/critical projects like their Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and Brown Bag boxes for seniors and additional food sorting projects.

Food Bank of the Rockies
Location: Main Warehouse 10700 E. 45th Avenue, Denver
Food Bank of the Rockies is the largest hunger relief organization in the Rocky Mountain region. They distribute upwards of 181,500 meals every day. But, for those in need, they provide more than just food. They give hope and open a future. Because when you can’t provide for your family today, it’s hard to even think about tomorrow.
Volunteers will work in two of three areas of the warehouse.
- Reclamation: sort, wipe and repackage incoming donations
- Distribution: pick orders and load pallets for outgoing partners
- Senior area: build and pack food orders

Volunteers will sort and screen products as well as build boxes filled with food and essentials that will be delivered to families in need across the United States.

Join this year’s Alumni Service Day volunteering with Appetite For Change. Help distribute seeds, plants, planters and other garden resources to community members in Minneapolis. Family members 8 years and older can join. A T-shirt and lunch will be provided.
