Blake is a school defined by the right kind of rigor. We challenge students to think critically, work hard and do well, without asking them to sacrifice joy or identity along the way.

That growth happens in a community rooted in genuine kindness. In our Lower School, Middle School and Upper School, every student is known—their passions, their strengths, the challenges they're working through—and they're taught to extend that same care to others. It's a culture where ambition and compassion aren't in tension; they reinforce each other.

At the heart of it all are our teachers. They foster the kind of deep relationships that spark curiosity and help each child discover what drives them. Students are encouraged to be ambitious in their pursuits while remaining caring, engaged members of their community.

We're also intentional about the long view. Blake is built for a life with purpose. We want every graduate to leave with a love of learning, the character to lead well and a clear sense of who they are and what they stand for.

We enroll approximately 175 new students each year. Most enroll at our entry points—pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, grade four, grade six and grade nine—while a smaller set enrolls in other grades. About 26% of new students receive need-based financial assistance.
