Promise Addy (she/her/hers) joined the LearningWorks team in August 2020 as the AmeriCorp VISTA Alumni and Community Engagement Coordinator following her graduation from Lawrence University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies and a minor in Psychology. This position was a “coming home” of sorts for Promise because she was a student at LearningWorks from 2010 to 2012. LearningWorks has a special place in her heart because it was the first place she learned to challenge herself and where she realized “It’s cool to be smart.”
