Skylar Wang ʼ22 has just completed her seven-year run with Blake. She plans to attend Yale in the fall and spend her four years relishing New Haven apizza. When she isn't sampling food, she loves to play guitar (poorly), toss a frisbee around and go birdwatching.

Q: What did you want to be when you were small?
A: An actress or a singer. My love for acting slowly faded, and true vocal ineptitude stopped me from exploring the latter.

Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Like leftover peanut butter on a spoon: surprisingly sweet, goopy and really difficult to get off.

Q: Aside from necessities, what is one thing could you not go a day without?
A: My pillow pet. It's a stuffed bumble bee that's been with me since I was 5—we speak to each other through telekinesis.

Q: Do you collect anything?
A: Leaves from around the world! It's an easy and fun souvenir to ask friends to bring back.

Q: What’s the most fun you’ve had this week?
A: Petting a friend's cat. It's had a grudge against me for a while, and would not go near me. This week, the cat and I finally healed our friendship.

Q: What’s the weirdest talent you have?
A: I can wiggle my ears and move only one eye at a time.

Q: If you are outside, what are you most likely doing?
A: Birdwatching! Learning the calls and songs of local Minnesota birds makes walks more peaceful and interesting.

Q: What’s your dream job?
A: To be a wedding planner. It'd be like a real life Buzzfeed Quiz—I'd get paid to pick cakes, cards and decorations.

Q: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
A: Foie gras, or goose liver. I would not eat it again.

Q: What are your three favorite smells?
A: Fresh laundry, old paper and chicken stock because they all remind me of home.
