Students in Ecuador

This summer, 10 Blake Upper School students experienced the varied ecosystems, diverse and indigenous cultures and rich history of Ecuador. And a second group of 20 students engaged in an intensive study of the effects of climate change in Iceland and the technological responses by industry and communities in the “world’s greenest city”—Amsterdam. Each group participated in a week of pre- and post-travel classroom time in addition to 20 days of travel. See photos and video from their adventures (Ecuador and Iceland/Amsterdam). Students in Ecuador shared more on Instagram; students in Iceland and Amsterdam wrote a blog about their experiences.
