Plank Summer Institute for Educators 2022: The Business and Influence of Public Art
June 21-23
8:30am-3:30pm
Northrop Campus
511 Kenwood Parkway, Minneapolis

Public art is found across the Twin Cities, enhancing landscapes and raising questions about the times, places and people it reflects. At the 2022 Plank Summer Institute, participants will visit public art in and around Minneapolis and St. Paul to experience it first-hand and engage in conversation with artists, city planners, stakeholders, decision makers and other educators about the business and influence of public art.

Established over 40 years ago through a generous endowment gift from Raymond Plank ΚΌ40, the Plank Summer Institute brings together educators and local business and industry leaders to learn from one another. All Pre-K to post-secondary educators in public, private or nonprofit settings are welcome to apply. There is no registration fee, and meals, materials and bus transportation are provided at no cost to participants. We invite you to join us for one, two or all three days.

We get to know the community, make great connections and eat good food. Treat yourself to the Plank Summer Institute for Educators and invite other educators in your network to do the same!
