Blake is looking to hire both experienced bus drivers and those interested in training to become one. At Blake, our drivers play an important role in our students’ educational, social and personal growth, and our buses serve as an extension of the classroom. Our students are expected to be respectful and attentive on the bus, allowing our drivers to spend less time managing student behavior and more time building relationships and helping students achieve.

Driver benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K retirement plans and more. The position pays $26 an hour with a $2,500 hiring bonus. Blake will also train and pay qualified candidates to receive their Class B commercial driver’s license with school bus endorsements.

This position is based on a minimum 20-hour workweek with each day split into two, 2-hour route shifts with the possibility of additional charter hours assigned periodically.
