If your class year ends in a 0 or 5, it’s time to plan for your reunion. Alumni volunteers are needed to update classmate contact information, organize a class-hosted gathering (typically held the Saturday of Blake’s Reunion & Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 8-11) and encourage attendance at all the weekend’s events. 

Volunteers do not need to live in the Twin Cities to participate. For those who do, a reunion planning kick-off meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25, 6-8pm, in the Bovey on the Blake campus in Hopkins. 

David Lyman ‘84, who volunteered for his class’ 35th reunion last year, says the school’s alumni office provided lots of assistance to the planning committee. “It wasn’t very time consuming,” he says. “Once we found the venue and set the fundraising goal, we were on our way!” He adds, “We were an intimate group planning an intimate party. We knew if we kept it low key we could have a great turnout of both in-town and out-of-town classmates.” (Class of 1984 reunion attendees pictured above.)
