Led by the LEAG (Leadership, Engagement, Alumni, Giving) Committee*, the class of 2025 has officially kicked off its senior class gift campaign. These soon-to-be graduates are leaving their mark on Blake with a spirit of gratitude that honors the past, celebrates the present and paves the way for future students at Blake.

The seven-member LEAG Committee unveiled this year’s campaign to their classmates at a gathering in the Carlson Commons. Contributions are going toward the Blake Fund in support of faculty professional development—a decision made after thoughtful discussion and reflection on the impact teachers have had throughout the seniors’ time at Blake.

"I love that the senior class gift is being directed toward faculty professional development," said Dion Crushshon, director of global programs. "It’s a meaningful validation for our teachers—being supported by the very students they’ve worked so closely with over the past four years. One thing that truly sets an excellent school apart is a concerted effort for faculty professional development."

The class of 2025 has already exceeded its goal of 50% class participation. LEAG will continue focusing its efforts on raising awareness about the importance of alumni engagement and philanthropy until graduation. Their aim is to leave a lasting legacy, strengthen the bond between students and faculty and ensure students continue to receive one-of-a-kind learning opportunities for future generations.
