Cub Pause: Olympia '31

Olympia '31 enjoys coloring on her giant coloring sheet, eating mac and cheese and playing with her brother, Hugo. Her favorite things at Blake are the lunchroom egg rolls, making art and playing ships across the ocean with her friends in P.E.

Q: What kind of magical power would you like to possess?
A: I can do whatever I want!

Q: What are your favorite toys and which are the ones you don't like playing with?
A: I like little pretend doggies to play with and little pretend horses. What I don't like to play with is baby things.

Q: Which animal would you prefer to be and why?
A: Giraffe because they have a long neck and they don't have to climb things to get them. They just stick out their long tongues. When I turned 5 I had a giraffe birthday party.

Q: What is your favorite thing about you?
A: I have a brother, Hugo.

Q: What is your favorite book and what do you like about it?
A: My favorite book is "Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed" because she spreads helpful things everywhere.

Q: What is your favorite letter of the alphabet and why?
A: O because I start with O. And I like H for Hugo.

Q: What do you like to do when you're not at school?
A: I like to play at home. I like to play with a city I made out of different things and the different little people.

Q: What do you like to draw?
A: That's a hard one. Mostly I like to draw people. That's a really big question because I have so many ideas. Mostly I draw people with things.

Q: If you wrote a book, what would it be about?
A: One time at school I wrote about our family getting a pumpkin, and we had to open our trunk because our pumpkin was really big and it stuck out of our car. We got it at the store. It fit in our house, but it was hard to carry in our house.

Q: What's your favorite thing to eat at lunch?
A: Mostly salami. And yogurt. I eat yogurt every time.

Q: Do you like to take naps? Why or why not?
A: My mom and dad tell me to go take a nap, but I don't really like sleeping, but I can still fall asleep because I'm so tired from my whole day. But if I have a really busy day I won't take rests.

Q: What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen in nature?
A: Turkeys. We live in the woods and most animals come to our house. One time we had a lot of turkeys — almost 11! I don't know how many we had because we couldn't count all of them.

Q: What is your favorite joke?
A: Knock, knock?

Q: What three things do you love about your friends?
A: That they're nice to me. They play with me a lot. Now can we go on to the next question?

Q: What is your favorite thing to do on the playground?
A: We like to play cops and robbers. We run around on the field.

Q: What is something that makes you different?
A: I wear different clothes and my skin sometimes changes.

Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Rainbow sparkly because it has all colors and it looks beautiful.
