Q: Name five things that make you happy
A: My two British labs, Hunter and Hampton, big family gatherings, late night flights, finding a new favorite song and cooking with friends
Q: If you could live in a different country for a year, which country would you choose?
A: I got the chance to work and study in London for four months, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to go back to England for a year.
Q: What are the three values you treasure most in a friendship?
A: Loyalty, honesty and humor
Q: Aside from necessities, what is one thing could you not go a day without?
A: Google! I am constantly looking things up, and I love being the first person to have an answer to the random question a group is trying to figure out.
Q: What's your favorite family tradition?
A: My family is always hosting large gatherings that usually revolve around a home-cooked meal filled with dishes native to Guam. My favorite part of these gatherings, however, comes after everyone finishes their meal and we are all sitting at the table, slightly loopy from how full we are. And we are laughing, telling stories, catching up and enjoying each other's company.
Q: If you could take one prop from any movie set, what would it be?
A: My mom introduced me to the Princess Diaries series at a young age, so if I have to choose just one prop (meaning I can't take Mia's entire walk-in closet), I would take the tiara Mia wears during her birthday ball in “Princess Diaries 2.”
Q: What is your favorite travel hack?
A: My "hack" may not work for everyone, but one thing that has helped me endure 30+ hour travel days to Guam to visit my family is to get as little sleep as possible the night before. I try to barely sleep leading up to a long travel day so that I can sleep on the long flights and make them a bit more bearable.
Q: What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
A: Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour!
Q: If you could live inside any sitcom, which one would it be?
A: I've recently fallen in love with “Friends” again and would love to live inside their world with their tight-knit friend group and huge New York City apartments.
Q: What book has influenced you greatly? How?
A: Last year I read “Everything I Know About Love” by British journalist Dolly Alderton. It's an engaging memoir that follows Dolly through her 20s, navigating friendships, career changes, grief and finding love in areas of her life where she might not have always seen it. This book helped me appreciate so many parts of my life where I didn't always realize the good. It also made me realize how much I enjoy reading memoirs. (Currently reading “When Breath Becomes Air,” which may become my new favorite.)
