The Blake School Otis Environmental Authors Series is not just limited to reading a book and working with wonderful authors. The Series also has a grant allocation available for members of the community who want to extend the authors topic into something larger for their classroom or group. Whereas there is no set limit for the allocation amount, disbursement is limited to funds available and qualified projects allocated. A committee will meet to make disbursements and suggest modifications to the grant based on funds available. Please contact Dan Trockman or Vince Goeddeke with any questions.
This year, author Barbara Freese will work on all campuses regarding coal and energy.
The application deadlines for the 2011-2012 school year is Friday, February 24th. If you have an off-year or summer idea that might apply, feel free to contact Vince or Dan to discuss.
