Our mission

The purpose of College Counseling is to help students realize their goals for continued studies while helping them to make a good match. Although the college admission process is often perceived to be highly stressful, our belief is that through education, self-knowledge, and access to our staff’s professional resources, Blake students can take ownership of the process.

    Blake Junior College Day

    Blake recently hosted the college admissions deans/directors from Brandeis University, University of Denver, University of Chicago and Tulane University for the 2012 annual Junior College Day. After tours and a dinner with faculty, the visitors participated in a panel discussion for students followed by 30 minute sessions on a wide range of topics. A great - and useful - time was had by all.
