Global Citizenship at Blake
Preparing students for responsible world citizenship is a key component of the Blake's mission and strategic plan, Blake 2010. The School works tirelessly to promote a global awareness and preparedness, and to offer integrated, coordinated, and meaningful opportunities for students (and adults) to become effective and engaged world citizens.
"An education that spans the grades of pre-kindergarten to 12 must help guide children on an ever expanding journey to a broader temporal and geographical worldview. Through the history we study, the literature we read, the art we make, and the cultures we explore, Blake's curriculum reflects this global orientation." John Gulla, Blake Head of School
