Auction Items Needed
The Derby Classic Auction needs your donations! Help us cross the finish line by donating items to the online auction. Here are just a few of the great items already received: two tickets to a Cities97 Studio C performance; a polo outing in West Palm Beach; a Domaine Serene getaway; use of a New Hampshire townhouse; golf outings at Minikahda and Oak Ridge Country Clubs; a traditional Sabbath dinner for eight; a dozen “Cupcakes in a Jar” from Sweet Cupcakes; and gift certificates to many of your favorite restaurants.
Hats off and a huge thank you to all who have donated to the auction so far.
We’re still looking for some items that have been great sellers at past auctions. We would love to have tickets to any of the local sporting events. Twins, Vikings, Wild and Lynx tickets have all brought in big bucks. Airline tickets, hotel packages, sports memorabilia and gift cards to local stores are also popular items.
Please keep your donations coming! Your generous support is the key to the success of the Derby Classic. Donations can be accepted through Friday, March 1, 2012, but the sooner the better.
