Can You Lend a Hand? Though the winter is long and cold, the Parent Association has many fun upcoming events to lift your spirits. Give a few hours of your time to benefit our school community, and you will get so much in return! Thank you for supporting Blake!
Seeking Party Planners! The annual Parent Association Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon will be held May 11. Parent volunteers are needed to help with invitations, entertainment, decorations and the menu. For more information or to volunteer, please contact parent Norma Leslie.
Planning is underway for the Eighth Grade Graduation Party and we need your help! This event celebrates our graduating Middle School students and will be held June 8 from 7 to 11 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help with invitations/mailing, decorations, the eighth grade video and chaperones. Please sign up to help make this a memorable event for our Middle School graduates! Please contact parent Betsy Michel for more information or to volunteer.
Ski and Snowboard Day Parent volunteers are needed to help chaperone this fun Middle School outing to Welch Village on Friday, Feb. 18. Even if you’re not a skier or snowboarder, come help out at this event and enjoy some hot cocoa in the chalet!
Calling All Dance Chaperones! The third and final Grade Six Dance Lesson is coming to the Blake dining room Feb. 11 and needs parent chaperones to help make this a fun and safe event for all.
Celebration of Community Volunteers Needed! This annual all-school gathering on Sunday, May 1 will showcase our community’s many diverse interests and talents. We still need volunteer destination and entertainment hosts, set-up helpers (Saturday, April 30), take-down helpers (after the event), and hospitality volunteers (during the event). Don’t miss this fabulous celebration of our Blake community!
