The Blake Booster Club was established to support the extra-curricular activities and to promote school spirit within the Blake community. The Boosters raise funds by selling Bearwear and supporting the sale of concessions at many athletic events. Over 75% of the funding for the Booster’ comes from sales of Bearwear wearable apparel and non-wearable merchandise.
All parents and alumni are Boosters and are invited to participate in the many Booster activities that help raise both funds and Blake Community Spirit. There are many volunteer opportunities in all areas of the Booster Club.
There are many volunteer opportunities in all areas of the Booster Club including: Homecoming and other special events, store assistance, concessions, and Booster Board member. Look for the Booster Club meeting notices in The Parent Link (US), Bearometer (MS), Bear Essentials or Parent News.
Boosters On-campus Store
Bearwear is available for sale in the Boosters store, adjacent to the athletic department office in the Middle School. The store is open to students, parents, faculty, staff and alumni on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
If your child/children does/do not have permission to charge to student account, please send an email to parentassociation@blakeschool.org stating student’s name and parent account name.

Bearwear items for sale include:
Classic Bearwear: T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, pullovers
Winter wear: scarves, wraps, hats and gloves
Stadium wear: Blankets, tote bags
Accessories: Caps, belts, flip flops
Boosters Funding
In 2011-2012, the Boosters funded a new Bear Mascot, the Homecoming Picnic, Buses to the State Soccer Tournament, Team Banner updates that hang in the gym, a Science Bowl buzzer, a table at the Athena Awards, MS Theater costumes and US Drama speakers. The total giving for 2011-2012 totaled over $15,000.
Boosters Meetings
Booster meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of the month in the Crosby Conference Room from 1:00-2:45 p.m.
