"In Our Back Yard"

Connecting the Blake community, near and far, through service.
Make a difference and have fun by joining us for the first-ever
Blake Service Day.

8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14
to 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 2007

To our alumni who do not live in the Twin Cities: Be a part of Blake's inaugural Service day, "In Our Backyard" by participating in a service activity in your backyard. Sleep out in a tent in the back yard, volunteer at a local food shelf or help clean up a local park. Whether you are in New York City or San Francisco, Tokyo or Paris - mark the date today, grab some friends and make a difference.

Needed: City-leaders! Interested in spreading the word to fellow alumni and/or identifying service agencies in your city, please contact us at the email below. To learn more, find out how to hook up with fellow alumni in your community, e-mail us at alumniassoc@blakeschool.org.

To our local alumni, students, parents, faculty and friends: Bring the whole family or a friend … Participate in the morning or afternoon, on one project or all … Join us at Wayzata or Minneapolis … Pick a passion and make a difference.
