French Political Scientist Sebastian Roché
to Speak at Blake

The Délégation Générale of the Alliance Française and The Blake School are proud to present a discussion with French political scientist Sebastian Roché.

Protests and riots in France in 2005 brought to light the segregation, discrimination, lack of opportunity and intergenerational inequalities within urban minority neighborhoods. In his presentation, "Unrest Among Young French Minorities: Can France Afford to Ignore the Inequality and Discrimination Affecting the Suburbs?," Dr. Roché discusses these and other issues while examining the problems in France's suburbs and exploring possible solutions.

The discussion, which will be in French, is open to the public. The cost is $5 for Alliance Française members and $8 for nonmembers. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Please R.S.V.P. at (612) 332-0436.
