It was moving day Extreme Makeover style. Blake's varsity football team members spent their last day of summer vacation moving Coach Erik Swenson's furniture, and they couldn't have been happier to help out. With cameras rolling and spectators lining the block, the Bears put their muscle to good use hauling in new chairs, tables, pictures and everything that will make up their coach's new family home.
The Swenson-Lee family found out that they were chosen for ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on Aug. 21. Within a week their old home had come down and a crew of hundreds had constructed a home fit for a family of nine (soon to be 10). While the house was being built and the keys handed over to designers and furniture movers, the family was away enjoying a Disney vacation. Their first glimpse of the new home was on Aug. 28.
The Swenson-Lee episode of "Extreme Makeover" will air on Nov. 25. It will be a special two-hour program marking the program's 100th episode.
