Teach LearningWorks Summer 2010
LearningWorks is looking to hire 26 college students and high school juniors and seniors interested in gaining teaching experience. LearningWorks teachers make the program a dynamic and exciting learning environment. Third Annual Summer Enrichment Opportunity Fair Saturday, March 6
The fair, hosted in partnership with Admission Possible and Minnesota Minority Education Partnership fills a critical need to connect LW alumni and similarly motivated high school students with high quality summer academic enrichment, internships, and jobs. Last year more than 300 current and former LW students and Admission Possible juniors met with 18 representatives from leading summer programs located in the metro area. Mission
To offer a challenging academic enrichment program to a representative group of motivated, high potential middle school students from Minneapolis Public Schools, setting them on the path to college by preparing them to enter rigorous high school programs; and To draw talented high school and college students into the education field by engaging them in the art of teaching.
