Biography

B.A. Skidmore College

Laura McConkey began her admissions career at Skidmore where she interviewed students, reviewed applications, coordinated volunteers, and organized campus events. Laura attended graduate school at the University of Chicago and served as Director of Annual Giving at the Northwestern University Law School. She returned to Minnesota to join the Hamline admissions staff in 1990. Prior to returning to Blake, Laura served as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Perpich Center for Arts Education. A parent of two current Blake students, Laura’s other responsibilities at Blake include serving as an Associate Director of College Counseling.
