Religious Observances Policy

Students are excused from school to observe religious practices that occur during the school day. Parents/students must inform (with a phone call or e-mail) the main division office of an anticipated religious observance absence.

Students who miss school to observe religious holidays will not be penalized for their absence. Teachers will also make reasonable allowances for work not submitted on time as a result of religious observance.
