Highcroft Community Gives Thanks at Celebration of Gratitude

Highcroft music teacher Woody Woodward and drama teacher Cynthia Hechter perform in a humorous skit recalling the trials of the previous year's construction project.

Highcroft's Celebration of Gratitude on September 28 included hundreds of students, teachers and guests who gathered on the expanded and renovated campus to sing, laugh and share expressions of thanks. Each Highcroft classroom took responsibility for personally thanking one of the 14 groups of people responsible for making the bright and shiny new spaces possible — including builders, donors, Highcroft neighbors and Blake's Board of Trustees. The event concluded with an outdoor picnic lunch and the snapping of a commemorative group photo of everyone in attendance posed in front of the building's new entrance.

Find these and other Highcroft's Celebration of Gratitude photos in Blake's online photo gallery.
