We are currently a program of legacy and tradition. Both boys’ and girls’ teams have won three state championships and numerous conference titles. The goal of our program is to demonstrate to each student athlete the potential of weaving strong academics with individual athletic success to contribute to a team and to provide a rewarding experience in this lifetime sport. The Blake School Alpine Ski Racing Team traditions are well known throughout the state of Minnesota and elsewhere. The highly recognizable team hat is internationally known and carries inside its woven threads the team’s motto: “Smooth…Fast…Natural.”

We train at Buck Hill in Burnsville, only 30 minutes from our High School campus. We travel to other ski venues throughout the state and take at least two trips a year to race and train. We have our own team room on campus to store and prepare equipment as well as a gym and weight room to use for training.
