Section Competition Schedule Spring 2013
The following teams will be competing in section games during the week of May 20th through May 25th. Monday, May 20: Softball Section 4AA Tournament @ Highland Park 4:00pm; Result: 5-7 loss (team eliminated) Monday, May 20: Tennis Section 4A Team Semifinals v. Minnehaha @ Blake Lower Courts 4:00pm; Result 7-0 win (team advances to Section 4A Finals on 5/28/13 v. SPA @ Blake Lower Courts 4:00pm) Thursday, May 23 (postponed from Wednesday): Tennis Section 4A Individual Competition @ Blake Lower Courts 9:00am; Singles Bracket; Doubles Bracket; Friday, May 24: Baseball Section 4AA Tournament: Opponent, Location, and Time TBD (seed meeting Wednesday) Click on the sport to see entire section bracket. Clare Flanagan '14 won the 3,200-meter race in the prestigious Hamline Elite Meet
In the girls’ 3,200, the reigning state cross-country champions squared off, with Blake’s Clare Flanagan, the Class 1A champ, outkicking Shakopee’s Maria Hauger, the 2A champ, for the victory in a meet-record 10:23.00.

The Boys Tennis Team was given the top spot in the Star-Tribune preseason ranking, topping Wayzata, Elk River, Edina, and conference rival, Breck. In addition, Charlie Adams '15, Kavir Kumar '15, Taylor Parr '14, and Kai Skallerud '13, were listed as top players to watch for the upcoming tennis season.
