Jordan Seivold '08 to Play in National Lacrosse Showcase

The Blake School senior Jordan Seivold has been selected to participate in the 2008 National High School Senior Lacrosse Showcase held at Benedictine University in Chicago, Illinois on June 20-21, 2008. This event is considered the National All-Star Game of boys' high school lacrosse and features the top senior high school players across the United States.
96 of the the top high school lacrosse players in the country have been divided into four region teams representing the North, South, East, and West. These teams will compete against each other in a final four tournament format with two semifinal games, a third place game and a championship game.
Seivold has been named to the East Region team and will be coached by Tim Roche of Eastview High School, MN and Mark Flood of West Linn High School, OR. Seivold is the only player from Minnesota rostered in the tournament.
Seivold is a 2008 Blake lacrosse team captain. So far this season, Seivold has netted 13 goals and 8 assists for the Bears. He has been named All-State for his outstanding play in 2006 and 2007 and plans to continue his lacrosse career at Navy.
