Dressen Commits to Colby College Will Play Soccer and Hockey

The Blake School is proud to announce that Blake Dressen '08 has committed to attend Colby College in the fall of 2008, and will compete for the Colby College men's soccer and men's ice hockey programs. Dressen has been a prolific goal scorer for The Blake School Soccer Team, and captained the squad to the 2007 MSHSL State Soccer Tournament Runner-Up finish. Dressen earned All-State and All-Region recognition for his senior season efforts in soccer, and was named to the State Soccer Tournament All-Tournament Team. On the ice rink, Dressen has been a key player for The Blake School's back to back MSHSL Ice Hockey State Tournament Appearances in 2006 and 2007, helping to capture the 2006 MSHSL State Tournament Consolation Championship. During the 2006-07 hockey season, as a junior, Dressen was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and was recognized as the team's 'Best Defensive Player'. He serves as an Assistant Captain for the Blake Hockey Team as a senior. Dressen also plays Lacrosse for Blake, and was a member of the 2006 State Championship Lacrosse Team.
