Girls' Ski Team Takes 5th, Massie 2nd

The Blake Girls' Alpine Ski Team placed 5th in the state meet held at Giants Ridge on February 14th. The top team finishers for Blake were Maisie Ide '11 placing 4th and Caroline Gagne '10 placing 11th. Also competing at the state meet for the girls' team were Perrin Burke '11, Hayden Broberg '10, Grace Nolan '12, and Ronni Peterson '08. In the girls' individual competition, Ide placed 5th and Gagne 14th.
In the boys' individual competition, Marc Massie '09 placed 2nd in state. Massie improved on his 3rd place individual finish from 2007.
