State Transportation
Reimbursement Information & Form

The Transportation Office facilitates the transportation reimbursement process for families who attend Blake. Transportation reimbursement are the funds allocated to school districts from the state for transportation. Since the funds were not used for district transportation (ie., student attending a non-public school) the funds are allocated to the families. Families must be eligible for reimbursement and complete a transportation reimbursement application and submit to our office. The Transportation Office compiles the applications by district and submits them collectively. Districts provide the state transportation funds to Blake who distributes to families. According to law, Blake must receive a completed application for each student in order for us to submit a request for transportation reimbursement to the district. If the student rides a Blake bus, Transportation applies the funds to our operating budget. If the student drives or gets a ride from a family member, we credit the funds to the student's Blake account. All forms into our office by mid-April to meet district deadlines. Download form here.
