Shadows
Black and White Silver Print
I took this print on Sea Island in Georgia when I went to visit my friend and her family there. While I was there, we went to her mom's friends house and I took my camera to ask if I could take her friends picture as one of my three people that I took pictures of for the Up Close and Personal photo shoot. I was in her back yard and saw this bird sculpture and how nice the shadow underneath it was. I took this picture fairly quickly and moved on but when I saw the negative of it, I really liked it. I made a test and final print of this photo and it was one of my favorites. I chose this to be my print that I put in gallery because, after I saw the final print, I realized that even though I didn't spend a lot of time taking this photo it used the Rule of Thirds and had a good contrast between black and white.
