When I took this photo of Jean, I was in Georgia visiting my friend and her family on Sea Island. This was the first portrait that I had taken for the Spring Break Photo Shoot and when we went over to see Jean, I brought my camera in hopes that she would let me take her photo. She said yes but I wasn't quite sure how to go about taking the picture. Since I had not read the instructions over fully, I didn't know that it was meant to be a portrait of them so I had her come outside to her garden. It was only after I did a few more pictures that I reread it and decided to do all three portraits over again. Although I was limited, I felt was happy with the end result of this project.
