Rule of Thirds
Black and White Silver Print
The point of this photo shoot was to teach up the rules of composing a nice photograph. The Rule of Thirds is a good way to help us remember the rule. It explains that in order to have good composition and not have the photo weighed to much to one side, we should divide the photo into thirds. If we have a horizontal subject matter, we should line it up with one of the horizontal lines composed by the rule of thirds. If we have a vertical subject matter, we should line it up with one of the vertical lines. This really helped me too understand how to have correct composition in a photograph.
