Traveled
Black and White Silver Print: Photogram
My picture is titled Traveled because the composition of it looks posed; it's set up, meant to look arranged. Just like my memories. It is pretty looking without the original rush, hustle, and bustle of being in the midst. The postcards are of the two places I have lived outside of the United States. The one laying horizontal on the bottom is Kakadu National Park in Australia and the other is of Neuschwanstein, a castle in the south of Germany. The two flags represent the US where I currently live and the more blank one represents where I may end up in the future. The chain of coins represent the chain of travel in my family and the lone button represents possibilities that could lie anywhere for me. The composition is meant to be interesting while still being simple. The original focus was intended to come to the top left corner but the little button begs for attention as well.
