Reflections
Black and White Silver Print
I took this photograph in 'Uptown'. While in Uptown we were supposed to shoot from our hips, or at least not look through the camera's viewfinder. For this particular photograph, you can see me in the background with the camera at about mouth or neck level. I took this photograph with the group I was walking through uptown with, and you can see them in the reflection off the store window and in the foreground of the photograph. The light this day was difficult to deal with because at some points during the day there was bright sun, but at some points it was heavily overcast. Amazingly, I did not have a single photo that was over or under exposed, but while printing this photograph I feel I did not expose it to the light quite long enough, not bringing out the darks and lights as much as I could have. I was also hoping on using a filter with this photo, but ended up dropping that idea after realizing with another photograph that the reflections in the window would most likely not show up.
