Audrey Art
Black and White Silver Print

Audrey, a freshman at Blake, agreed to be a model for this shoot and enjoyed the process. In the picture, she sits in front of the Dictionary of Art. I took this same shot several times, using different apertures each shot. The aperture I ended up working with worked the best in this situation because it placed emphasis on the face and allowed there to be detail there as well while the background was more subtle. When taking these shots with the different apertures I thought that there would be more obvious difference in light and contrast. There ended up not being any light or contrast differences, just differences in detail. The final print was titled "Audrey Art" because of the subject matter, Audrey and the books of art that sit stacked behind her.
