Straight Emergency
Black and White Silver Print

For the rule of thirds shoot, I was assigned to go out and find strong horizontal and vertical lines and place them in different areas where the thirds intersect within the picture. My original film had not been wound correctly so I went around the school and found the lines in the building. On a wall I found a straight vertical line next to a fire alarm. I liked the small box next to the thin line and chose it for my final print. After developing film I brought my negatives to the dark room and developed the test print for five seconds long exposures at F11. Five seconds of exposure at that light worked for the image so I used that on the final print.
