Flying Shoes
Black and White Silver Print

As we were thinking of what to do for the motion assignment, simple gymnastics came to mind. Maisie and Lucy prepared themselves to do cart-wheels, did them, and then failed to land them. If there were more time to complete this assignment, I would have printed the before picture, the during movement picture, and the after picture to get the full affect of their movement. They started standing still, began moving, and ended laying still. There are lots of distractions in this picture other then the two girls and their shoes, the tree takes a lot away from the picture but I think that the shadows and reflections of the tree bring in a detail that makes the picture complete. I feel like with out the tree, there would be something missing from the picture. The flying shoes are the main focus of the picture once they are noticed, though they take a while to notice the idea was to see the shoes and then realize what the two girls are doing.
