Sunday Night
Black and White Silver Print

This assignment was more technical than most of the other projects that my class has had. Although it was quite informative, the project seemed somewhat dull to me. There wasn't any real finding mentally or in some form of serendipity. I just sought for everything that was mentioned in the rubric, or in the reading material, that mentioned The Rule of Thirds. What I really liked about this project was that I stood on my own. The reason why I enjoy looking at this final print is that I made it. It's as simple as that. I especially take pride in how I used a filter that accentuated my picture, lightened it up, and got rid of unwanted grey values. This project taught me not only about The Rule of Thirds or lack there of, but also about how to accomplish things on my own.
