Flux in a State of Solidity
Black and White Silver Print

I did my Up Close and Personal on a friend of my sister. Technically she's my step sister but not realistically. The model's name was Corrie. He seemed to be a cool guy. I like the final print a lot. When I started to work on my test print, almost all of them had the peculiar shape of a circle ingrained on the picture. My teacher later showed me that what I was adjusting to focus was not actually the tool used for focusing. I now know the exact locations of the focus knob and the not-focus knob. Hopefully I will not make this mistake again. I named the picture Flux in a state of solidity because for my eye the picture has a feeling of low. Where my eye is attracted and how it reacts with the picture. They eye is pulled towards the face but not locked in.
