Black and White Silver Print
This photograph was one of the four final images I selected for the emulation of Patrick Demarchelier’s work. This piece mimics his fashion photography with the two girls getting ready in their dresses. It shows the clothing, but at the same time tells a story. This combination is very prevalent in Demarchelier’s work. This is one of a series of three photographs that all tell part of a story. The bright lights provide a nice contrast between the mirror and the girls’ dresses. To achieve this tonal range, I used a 3½ filter.
