Black and White Silver Print

Quinn Styles Alpeter prefers to be called Styles. He does not like to be called by his first name. I chose to title this photograph Quinn, because the Sabattier print technique hides some aspects of the photograph and brings out different lines and textures you otherwise would not have noticed. If someone did not know my cousin very well they would not know that his real first name is Quinn and that he chooses to go by his middle name, Styles. When making this print, I wanted to keep the value of the simplicity of this headshot, while adding Mackie lines and tonal reversal.
