Curiosity

The phrase "the early bird gets the worm" fits my cat perfectly. Except, of course, that she is not the bird, but rather the cat who gets the bird who ate the worm. In my photo I wanted to show her curiosity. I did this by making her eyes a little darker than they really are, and also by adding more contrast. My other goal was to make the photo look warm and cuddly. The out of focus look in the background and the soft look of her fur really captures that. Looking at my photograph I see not only a picture of my cat, I also see her character. The curiosity within her eyes, her ready to jump into life posture, and her sweet innocence all show through.
