Into the Blue
Screen Print
In the making of this print, we used an open area on a screen as our design area. There, we first created a rainbow roller using orange and blue. This created a gradual change in color across the paper. We then used emulsion to block out areas that we thought would create a punk rock image. We used random actions to create our shapes. In our first print, we used negative dominance. In our second print, we used a more positive dominance image. We both preferred our first print. It shows a very rapid change in color.
