Please, Not Right Now
Black and White Silver Print
Photoshop Craquelure

I took this picture at the Blake Upper School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is an image of one of my classmates. I was basically playing the role of paparazzi taking pictures of my friends while they were working. Some, like the one in the photo, didn't want me to take their picture. They would put their hand up or turn their head. I was taking the pictures inside in a low light situation therefore the shutter speed was very slow. Because of the slow shutter speed motion became part of what I expected. In this photo the person is both turning their head and putting their hand up. To enhance the intention of the blurr I added an effect using the computer as an artistic tool. I also adjusted the tonal range to make it darker then increased the contrast to make the 7 or Z in the middle stick out.
