Screen Print on Index Paper
For this print we began with the color red, tearing out certain shapes so that we could influence the balance of the print. We printed this part of the print six times, leaving two of our eight papers blank for proofs for the yellow and blue prints. Then after they had dried, we printed yellow on top of the red ones five times, and printed a yellow print on a white sheet. With this we still had one blank sheet, proofs for our yellow and red, a proof for the yellow-red combo, and four yellow-red prints to be printed on with blue. We printed our 4 last prints on yellow-red sheets and our blue proof using blue ink. This allowed us to have our four final prints and our 4 proofs quickly. We named our final draft Shapes due to the fact there are so many different shapes on our sheet.
