Ink on Paper
This print was supposed to show the childlike qualities, which exist in the punk rock culture. We wanted to use bright colors, because when mixed together they turn dark, which is similar to how punk is, dark on the outside but bright on the inside. We also wanted the lines to show the sporadic movement of punk rock. This is why the lines move rapidly and irregularly around the paper. We used many techniques in our print. Some of these techniques are blotting with paper towel, splattering, and drawing random squiggles and lines with emulsion on our screen.
