Uptown
Black and White Silver Print
This photograph shows a bookstore in Uptown. I took this picture on our class fieldtrip. If you look closely, you can see reflections of cars, buildings, and people. These people are from my photography class and are holding cameras. This photograph not only represents city life, but also the photography lessons my class has learned on these trips. Specifically, in Uptown we learned how to bracket. After developing this photograph, I realized that the left bottom corner was too light. I had to burn in this section, making it darker, to have it connect with the rest of the photograph. I also used a number two filter to be descriptive with this photograph.
